The houses other contractors walk away from
Cliff lots. Caisson-supported terraces. Four-sided infinity edges. Down-to-framing remodels in high-seismic hillside zones. Our team has been the engineering and construction muscle behind some of the most photographed residences in Los Angeles — including engineer-of-record work on Paul McClean-designed estates above the Sunset Strip and in Bel Air.
What we do:
Ground-up custom residences on complex sites. Major structural remodels and additions. Hillside foundation systems — caissons, grade beams, retaining structures. Pools, cantilevers, and the structural gymnastics behind seamless indoor-outdoor architecture.
Why it matters:
At this level of architecture, the contractor’s job is to make extreme engineering disappear. A 14,000-square-foot house that floats above the city works because the caissons beneath it were designed and built by people who knew exactly what they were doing. We engineer in-house — static and dynamic analysis, high-seismic detailing — so ambition never has to be value-engineered out of the design.
Who we serve:
Homeowners, architects, and developers building at the top of the Los Angeles market.
Projects completed by Interconneckt principals, including work performed through their respective prior practices.
