Government & Defense

Blast-resistant structures, crash-rated vehicle barriers, and rapid-deployment infrastructure for defense and industrial clients across North America.

Crew installing a crash-rated sliding gate

Hardened structures, engineered in-house

Interconneckt brings a rare capability to government and defense work: a structural engineering lead with twenty-five years in permanent and temporary mobile infrastructure for military facilities โ€” blast-resistant structures, crash-rated vehicle barricade systems, E-House equipment centers, tensile membrane structures, and open-water transport of structures โ€” paired with a general contractor that can execute in the field.

What we do:

Blast-resistant modular buildings and control rooms. Crash-rated vehicle barriers: wedge barricades, beam barriers, bollards (fixed, shallow-foundation, and portable), and crash-rated sliding gates. Perimeter security and force protection infrastructure. Temporary and rapid-deployment military infrastructure. Helical pile foundations for towers, equipment centers, and power systems.

Engineering depth:

Static and dynamic nonlinear finite element analysis performed in-house, including blast dynamics and vehicle impact. Licensure in 47 states, D.C., and five Canadian provinces. Fluency in IBC 2024, ASCE 7-22, CBC/LABC 2022, and Canadian national and provincial codes. ASCE Committee 55 (Tensile Membrane Structures) membership.

Portfolio note: projects completed by Interconneckt principals, including work performed through their respective prior practices. Additional DoD project case studies forthcoming.
